Commenting Boards

We use commenting boards with books in class. It's a great way to share a book and encourage turn taking, reinforcing words used and extending vocabulary. You can ask your child questions and they can point and use their voice if they are able to. For example, What can you see? What happened? What is it? Can you find the ..... and point to the object on your board. Take a look at the ones below:
