Danecourt School

Waste week 12-18th March 2012

Waste Week is a fantastic opportunity to get the whole school learning about waste and thinking about how they can cut down on the amount of waste they produce, as well as how they can reduce the proportion that goes to landfill, by re-using, recycling and composting.

This year the focus of Waste Week will be on the waste associated with food that is eaten in school. The Lunchtime Crunchtime campaign is new for this year and we will be participating in a range of activities looking at the waste topic and how the children can be involved both in school and at home.
