At the last Ofsted inspection in October 2009 the Governing Body of Danecourt School was graded as outstanding . In November 2010 Ofsted visited 14 schools in various locations where governance had been judged as outstanding. They produced a report looking at the principles and practices that made those Governing Bodies outstanding and included case studies from each of the schools visited-Danecourt School Governing Body was one of those chosen. The aim of the report is to help all Governing Bodies become excellent by being able to look at the examples given and to reflect on their own practices.
