Danecourt School

School Council

The school council is a group of 6 children from key stage 2, led by Ms Daburn. One child is elected from each class, who stands on the council for one year as a representative of their peers.

They meet approximately once a month to talk about issues and how we can improve the school for the benefit of all the children. The children have an opportunity to talk about their views and the views of others.

They also help to run annual events such as the “Drink and Mince Pie” thank you afternoon for the bus drivers and escorts and the School Council Fun Day in May.
