Danecourt School

Shoe Box Appeal 2017

This year, classes at Danecourt will be thinking of others and filling shoe boxes to make someone happy this Christmas. We shall be supporting Blythswood's Shoe Box Appeal 2017. Your help would be greatly appreciated. There are several ways that you may be able to help:

Firstly, you may wish to contribute towards a class shoe box. Each class will decide who they will be collecting for (a boy or girl) - and the age of the child that the gift will be suitable for. Contributions can include a hat, scarf or gloves, toothbrush/toothpaste, a small toy or some sweets. You should have all received a leaflet home with suggested items and will also be receiving a note in your child's contact book detailing who the class box will be for.

Alternatively, you may wish to fill a shoe box at home, perhaps with the help of friends or family. This could be gifts suitable for a child or an adult. The steps to doing this are in the leaflet. Filled boxes can be returned to Danecourt by Wednesday 8th November.

A further way to assist is by donating to your child's class any spare empty shoe boxes you may have. Further information can be found on Blythwood's website:

Thank you for your support
