Key Information

Danecourt School is part of Barnsole Primary Trust.

Details of the Governance and the required statutory information for Barnsole Primary Trust can be found on the Barnsole Primary Trust website.

Our Designation

Danecourt was originally designated as a school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties.  However we are now increasingly catering for pupils with severe learning difficulties and more complex needs.

The school caters for pupils from Foundation Stage to Year 6.   All pupils who attend Danecourt school have a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Educational Health Care Plan.

Admission to Danecourt School  generally takes place in September each year for pupils within Medway and beyond.  Places are allocated through Medway Special Education Department where admission would not significantly oversubscribe a class we therefore do not have an oversubscription criteria. All enquiries regarding placements and the appeals process should be directed through the Medway Special Education Department at Gun Wharf.
