Danecourt School

Cricket Club

Games and coaching with Roy Shirley, who has been in school many times to coach.

Roy is working with different classes throughout the year during curriculum time.  He is teaching the pupils a range of skills including watching the ball, catching the ball and batting the ball. Pupils are then linking skills to be able to play small sided games.

Roy runs the Cricket club after school on a Tuesday for pupils in key stage 2. Their skills are developing so they can understand and follow rules and play games.  Here are some photos from Cricket club.
