About Us

Welcome to Danecourt School website on behalf of the pupils, staff and trustees.  We hope that this website will help you find out more about life in our school, which we are all proud to be part of.

We believe that all children deserve the best educational opportunities.  We aim to achieve this by providing a secure and caring environment where every child is valued, respected, safe and successful. We want our children to enjoy their time at school and to be happy in their learning.    Danecourt School provides a range of educational, social and cultural activities which enable all our pupils to flourish. We celebrate every success, however small.

At Danecourt we are proud of the range of achievements made by of all our pupils in relation to their personal targets.   We recognise achievement in all areas of the curriculum including social skills, independence, creative arts and sport.

The happy, secure and inspiring learning environment is created by our highly skilled, dedicated and hardworking staff.  Each class is supported by a staff team which enables children to receive a significant level of adult support as necessary.  Our aim, however, is to work towards long term goals of encouraging our pupils to be as independent as possible both as learners and as members of the wider community.

We are committed to supporting parents/carers and are always happy to provide additional guidance and advice to ensure that parents/carers are able to access the information they require.  We believe that the best education for our children is formed through a partnership between pupils, parents/carers and the school.
